Our Story

Filiz is the eldest sibling who has become the family's caretaker after their mother left, taking on grown-up duties while still a young woman. Their father Fikri drinks too much and stirs up trouble that the kids have to manage, and the family scrapes by in a poor Istanbul neighborhood. Despite the constant struggle, the six siblings create moments of joy and protect one another. Filiz has resigned herself to a life without romance until Barış arrives, a young man whose persistence and kindness toward Filiz and her family test her expectations about love and loyalty, without changing the day to day hardships they face.

The series premiered in 2017, created by Serdar Gözelekli and directed by Koray Kerimoğlu. It adapts the international format Shameless for a Turkish setting and stars Hazal Kaya and Burak Deniz in the lead roles, joined by Reha Özcan, Yağız Can Konyalı, and Zeynep Selimoğlu.
