On the storm-battered plains of 1719, Naru, a fierce Comanche hunter, refuses to let danger go unchecked. When a threat stalks her encampment, she pushes past the limits of what her people expect from a hunter and sets out to confront it. The pursuit puts her up against a cunning rival who uses superior stealth and tools that are alien to her world. As she studies tracks, she adapts her tactics and relies on skill, courage, and a sharp instinct for survival. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, Prey sits in the Predator universe while telling a self contained story set within a Comanche community. The screenplay is by John Thomas, Jim Thomas and Patrick Aison, and the film arrived on Hulu in 2022 for streaming and home viewing.

Filmed with dialogue in both English and Comanche, the story centers on a Comanche Nation community with actors drawn from the region and advisors who shaped daily life.
