Three precocious espers sit at the heart of this light hearted anime that mixes comedy with a pinch of science fiction. Kaoru is impulsive and can bend objects with the power of her mind. Together they are mentored by Koichi Minamoto, a tired despite caring field operative who has to corral these three kids and keep their powers from spiraling out of control. The operation runs at B A B E L, the Base of Backing ESP Laboratory, a place meant to shape talent into responsible use while navigating life at school together.
