Dr. Sam Beckett, a gifted physicist with a stubborn faith in doing the right thing, triggers a radical time travel project and vanishes from his own era. He awakens in the body of another person at a different point in history, with memories that aren’t his and little sense of how he got there. An unseen guide from the future, Al appears as a hologram visible only to Sam, offering advice and levity without ever being physically present. Sam is compelled to fix mistakes in each new life, trying to steer past tragedies toward a better outcome while the clock ticks on his mysterious leap. He hopes that the next leap will finally take him home.
