Angela Vidal, a young TV reporter, emerged from a deadly emergency alongside a batch of firemen, only to discover she has survived something far more dangerous than the blaze. The authorities believe she carries a strange infection and must be isolated away from the public. Instead of a hospital, she is transported to a remote quarantine facility built inside an aging oil tanker anchored miles offshore.
