About Saint Tail
Saint Tail follows Meimi Haneoka, a bright junior high student who moonlights as Saint Tail, a masked phantom thief who uses magical tricks to right wrongs. By night she becomes the town's enigmatic helper, a figure of charm and daring capers that mix thrill with humor. At school she juggles friends and ordinary life, with Mimori Seira, Daiki Asuka, Manato Sawatari, and Ryouko occasionally in on her secret or chasing clues that test loyalty. The story began as Megumi Tachikawa's twenty four part manga and was adapted into a forty three episode TV series by Tokyo Movie Shinsha, airing on ABC in Fall 1995. A subtle love triangle adds mild romantic tension.

What Viewers Are Saying
Saint Tail lands as a sweet, school-life romance wrapped around a light caper show rather than a pure heist, centering on Meimi and the junior detective Asuka. Fans praise its nostalgic charm, the magic tricks that lift the capers, and a romance that grows through all 43 episodes. Many compare it to a Robin Hood meets Sailor Moon vibe and say the finale, while predictable to some, still lands emotionally thanks to warm leads and a sincere, slow burn between Meimi and Asuka.
