Scum of the Brave

In the near future Tokyo, the underworld folds into supernatural chaos as clan bosses mutate into ether powered Demon Lords and a squad called Braves hunts them down. Yashiro, a world weary Grim Reaper, agrees to train Aki Jougamine, a high school girl who dreams of becoming a Brave. Their partnership starts off bumpy and ends up in a string of messy cases that mix grim stakes with offbeat humor. What begins as a rough mentor student dynamic grows into a reluctant alliance that both challenges them and exposes the gray areas of power, loyalty, and survival. Its tone sits somewhere between cheeky satire and grim adventure, and the series promises creative action sequences and unexpected character moments for fans.
