Sealab 2021

Deep beneath the ocean floor sits Sealab, a gleaming high tech research colony that should scream progress but mostly runs on chaos. The crew is a crew of misfits and lazy gadflies who were deemed unsuitable for ordinary jobs and now pretend to run a top level laboratory. They rarely deliver real discoveries, preferring bickering, goofy stunts, and the occasional pay check hunt. Their fearless leader Captain Murphy is kept in check not by competence but by the crew's schemes to keep him in charge. The show lampoons government waste and corporate culture by turning a supposed flagship research facility into a comedy of errors where science takes a back seat to mischief.
