Four weary travelers headed toward the dusty town of Silverado cross paths and decide to team up for the trek. Each man brings a different skill, and none expected to become a hero, yet bad luck and bad men conspire to complicate their route. The landscape gives them chance encounters with a crooked sheriff, a ruthless posse, and townsfolk who are afraid or willing to buy protection. On the road they find themselves improvising plans, swapping stories, and bailing one another out of jams.
