Gulshan Arora is a former basketball coach whose career has collapsed after a high-profile failure. As part of community service he’s assigned to train a small team made up of players with intellectual disability. He starts out distant and unsure, seeing the assignment as punishment more than opportunity. Little by little he notices that the team's strengths aren't what he expected, and their quirky habits, determination and simple joy for the game begin to change how he coaches. The film follows Gulshan as he shifts from cynicism to investment, learning to tailor his methods while the players test themselves in local tournaments, with the goal of qualifying for the national championships looming as a real possibility.
