A young publishing executive, Carly Norris, moves into a sleek Manhattan high rise and expects a fresh start, but the apartment's recent past keeps intruding. The previous tenant died under unclear circumstances, and Carly notices odd details: a hidden camera, strange neighbors, and an intoxicating attraction to a mysterious man upstairs, Zeke. As she settles in, casual meetings and late night encounters spiral into suspicion, and a police detective begins asking questions about the building's residents. Carly has to piece together a picture of who was watching whom and why, while balancing ambition, desire, and the risky thrill of living in a place where privacy feels negotiable. Her work, relationships, and sense of safety start to fray as secrets accumulate.
