After the events of Gridman, a new high school student named Yomogi Asanaka runs into Gauma, a boy who claims to wield a strange power tied to monsters. A mysterious encounter triggers chaos when a kaiju attacks and a giant robot called Dynazenon towers above the city. Dragged into this sudden war, Yomogi and Gauma join forces with a small group of classmates who seem unprepared for the burden ahead.
