Hairi Takahara arrives on the small island of Torishirojima to sort through his late grandmother's belongings, expecting a short, practical visit. Instead he encounters an island that seems tuned to a different tempo, where wide stretches of sea, quiet streets and local rituals shape his days. Several mysterious girls enter his life, each pursuing something that stays just beyond reach, and Hairi fills his time with small chores, late-night conversations and festival nights.
