That Summer in Paris

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Blandine, a 30 year old from Normandy, travels to the capital to watch the swimming events. The city’s tempo overwhelms her; crowds, delays, and a string of misreads turn a simple outing into a test of patience. Small misfortunes pile up as she hops between trains, queues, and directions that keep shifting. An unexpected encounter with someone from her past interrupts her plans and injects a new dose of tension and possibility into the day. What starts as a routine spectator trip becomes a vivid portrait of a single afternoon when ordinary choices collide with chance events and human connection.
