About The Boxtrolls
Eggs is an orphan raised by a clan of gentle scavengers called Boxtrolls who live hidden beneath the streets. When he ventures above ground, he discovers a bustling city that fears difference and meets Winnie Portley-Rind, who sees him as more than a monster to banish. The two form a wary alliance as Eggs begins to suspect there is more to his upbringing than legends say. Archibald Snatcher, a power hungry exterminator, has hatched a plan to wipe out the Boxtrolls and seize control of the town. Together with allies from both sides, Eggs must reveal truth, challenge prejudice, and defend a community that refuses to be erased. Together they challenge a city built on fear and secrecy from within.
