Álvaro Norte, a celebrated composer and cellist, brings Mauro, a gifted student, into his orbit as an assistant. What begins as an educational relationship becomes tense when Mauro reveals intentions that unsettle Álvaro. In response, Álvaro confines Mauro to a room and begins shaping a new cello piece out of the captive's pain, turning real suffering into creative fuel. Mauro resists and struggles to keep his autonomy, while the lines between mentorship, manipulation, and artistic ambition grow increasingly blurred. Music itself becomes a character, each note mirroring the power gap and prompting questions about consent and creative ownership and ambition between teacher and pupil.
