Yuuko Yoshida wakes up to her dormant demonic abilities and, given the title Shadow Mistress Yuuko by her ancestor Lilith, is told she must defeat a shrine maiden from the Light clan. That task leads her to Momo Chiyoda, a polished magical girl who Yuuko challenges after being introduced by classmate Anri Sata.
