The Ice Road

On a remote diamond mine in far northern Canada, a blizzard shuts down the operation after a sudden collapse traps workers beneath the ice. Mike McCann, a seasoned ice road driver with a hard edge and a stubborn sense of responsibility, is called in to run a rescue convoy. He teams with Tantoo, a resourceful geologist, and his brother John 'Gurty' McCann, who wants to prove he can handle danger too. As the ice road cracks and creaks under shifting ice and whiteout conditions, McCann must chart a treacherous course across a frozen sea using a convoy of heavy trucks and a timing plan that leaves little room for error. The clock is ticking, and any misstep could be fatal.
