The Iron Giant

In 1957 Rockwell, Maine, a curious nine-year-old boy discovers a colossal metal robot that has fallen from the sky. He hides and cares for it, teaching simple words and the difference between right and wrong as the Giant absorbs human mannerisms. The boy's mother worries about bills, while a grizzled local artist becomes an unexpected ally who recognizes the robot's gentle nature. When news spreads and military interest grows, fear and Cold War paranoia grip the town, challenging loyalties.
