Hua Qian Gu is born under a dark omen: flowers wither and the sky clouds over the day her mother dies in childbirth. As the last god in a fading world and labeled a Lone Star, she carries a strange scent that draws demons toward her. Her dying father urges her to learn martial arts to survive, so she leaves home to seek a master who can teach her how to defend herself. Along the way she meets allies Dongfang Yu Qing, Meng Xuan Lang, and Sha Qian Mo, and the series follows her growth, relationships, and the dangers her unusual nature attracts, without revealing major plot twists or the ending.
