The Last Viking

After serving fourteen years for a robbery, Anker is released and goes back to the small world he left, reconnecting with his brother Manfred, who lives with an intellectual disability and is the only one who remembers where the stolen cash was hidden. Trouble is, Manfred's memory is patchy and the clues he offers are cryptic, so the brothers piece together fragments from the past while old allies and wary locals reappear. Their quest for the money becomes a test of loyalties, moral limits and shared history. Laughter and unease often coexist as the story shifts between darkly funny moments and tense confrontations, and at its heart the film asks what recovery might cost them.
