A new epoch is dawning in the lands east of the European heartland as ancient tribes fade and the last Scythians drift into whispers. Lutobor, a seasoned fighter, finds himself drawn into brutal feuds between fading lineages and ruthless raiders who sell their swords to the highest bidder. When a desperate family crisis sets him on a dangerous course, he teams with a captive Scythian who knows the hidden routes and broken codes of a world collapsing around them. Their mission crosses war-torn plains, rugged hills, and ruined keeps as they chase a fragile hope amid shifting loyalties.
