On a quiet suburban night, a group of science-obsessed kids discovers that the monsters from their stories are real. Count Dracula has returned, joined by Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, and a Gill-man, all chasing a powerful amulet. The teens team up with a reluctant librarian and a grizzled hunter to keep their town from being overrun by these forces of darkness.
