Too Much

Oscar Pettinari dreams of a break in cinema, aiming to act or perform stunts. He hatches a plan to reach a film manufacturer by staging an accident. The ruse backfires when a young actress is hurt, and he knows he must control the damage. He drags the injured woman into his own home hoping a calm, private setting will help him manage the fallout. As the situation tightens, Oscar tests the balance between luck and ethics, learning that a single bold lie can pull him deeper into trouble, even as his comic timing keeps the situation oddly light. Yet in a city obsessed with appearances, the scheme forces him to confront what he wants and what he will sacrifice.
