Train of Life

Set in 1941, a tight knit Jewish village in central Europe confronts the threat of deportation and violence. To outsmart their pursuers, the villagers stage a sham train departure, transforming their hamlet into a moving stage for a grand ruse. They recruit actors, craftsmen, and ordinary neighbors to fill the carriages, creating the illusion of a regular transport headed toward safety in Palestine. The plan relies on performance, improvisation, and the trust of a community that must decide how far it will go to protect its people.
