When Bumblebee wakes with chunks of his memory missing, Windblade steps in to rebuild his memory chips and piece together who he used to be. As fragments of Cybertronian history return, Bumblebee replays past missions and relationships, which give him and Windblade the lead they need to press on with their current objective. Their quest is urgent, because friends are in danger and time is short. Unknown to them, Megatron has dispatched lethal Decepticon hunters to track them, raising the stakes as the pair race to follow a clue that could change everything, without revealing how it all ends.
