Treadstone continues the idea of a government program that once made the legendary Bourne agents and now tests a fresh protocol to forge a new cadre of nearly superhuman killers. The series follows a group of individuals scattered across different continents whose pasts keep catching up with them as undercover operatives are awakened or reactivated. In every corner of the globe, people with fragile memories and murky loyalties are pulled into a shadowy machine that blends memory science, manipulated perception, and ruthless discipline. As handlers coordinate discreet operations and suspects clash, the show builds a web of conspiracies where friends may be enemies and the line between civilian and assassin blurs. With a fast paced tempo and shifting viewpoints, Treadstone promises surprise revelations while keeping the focus on the moral cost of turning ordinary lives into weapons. Set across cities like Paris, Seoul and Boston, the show follows tangled stories that orbit a growing suspicion that nobody is truly in control. Visuals lean toward a taut, documentary style of action and crisp pacing that keeps the threat close as the cast navigates shifting loyalties. From the start the series hints at a larger plan behind the scenes, inviting viewers to piece together who pulls the strings. J Randolph Bentley, Doug McKenna, Matt Edwards, SoYun Pak and Tara Coleman anchor the action, with their intertwined loyalties driving the multi-thread plot. Tone blends high octane action with a cool, clinical look at the mechanics of mind control and public paranoia. While trying to protect ordinary people from the consequences of their own pasts, the characters must decide where their own line lies. Created by Tim Kring and Tyler Hisel, Treadstone released in 2019 as an offshoot of the Bourne universe. It follows a renewed program to craft elite operatives, featuring Jeremy Irvine, Brian J Smith, Omar Metwally, Han Hyo-joo and Tracy Ifeachor.
