Waffle Street

Jimmy Adams is a high powered vice president at a hedge fund, living by numbers and late nights. When the market shifts, he loses his job and ends up tending a waffle grill at a 24 hour diner. The greasy morning and midnight shifts throw him into a new rhythm, where a cutlery clatter becomes a classroom. There he befriends Edward, a blunt ex convict who runs the grill with stubborn honesty. Edward pushes Jimmy to read the lay of the land beyond balance sheets and to redefine risk in human terms. Through humor and hard truth, Jimmy learns that success can be measured in the simple things and in the people who stand by you. The film uses this unlikely friendship to explore how quickly life can flip and what remains true when money is gone.
