Your Lie in April

After a childhood spent turning pages of music, Kousei Arima finds his world quiet and colorless when his mother dies abruptly, taking away his ability to hear the notes inside his head. A once dazzling piano prodigy, he now stumbles through daily life as if the music itself has vanished. Then Kaori Miyazono enters, a violinist whose playful style and fearless stage presence cut through the gloom. She refuses to play by the rules and invites Kousei to listen with new ears, not just with technique.
