Two planes narrowly miss disaster after a blinding flash freezes air traffic controller Dylan Branson for a heartbeat, and the incident begins a personal clockwork he cannot ignore. He soon discovers a disquieting loop where sounds and events recur with exact regularity, ending at 2:22 pm each day. As the pattern repeats, Dylan finds himself drawn to a woman who seems connected to the mystery in ways he cannot explain.
