2gether: The Series

When a college student named Tine tries to shake off an overzealous admirer, he hires a fellow student, Sarawat, to play his boyfriend as a prank. What starts as a staged relationship with clear rules and staged moments soon becomes messy, funny, and emotionally real as their on-screen chemistry spills into private time. The show follows their shifting feelings, the reactions of friends and rivals, and how two people learn to be honest about attraction while juggling classes, social expectations, and jealous exes. It keeps the focus on character moments and everyday college life, avoiding major plot twists while letting the central romance grow naturally.

Released in 2020 and directed by Weerachit Thongjila, 2gether was created from ideas by JittiRain, Pongsate Lucksameepong, and Pratchaya Thavornthummarut. The series stars Vachirawit Chivaaree as Sarawat and Metawin Opas-iamkajorn as Tine, supported by Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit, Jirakit Kuariyakul, and Sattabut Laedeke.

The series didn’t capture major international awards, but it did receive a number of fan-voted and regional recognitions, helping to raise the profiles of its cast. Those grassroots honors reflect how viewers embraced the show more than formal industry prize circuits did.
