Ali was born in a provincial town and rejected for adoption by his father, then raised in orphanages where he developed exceptional medical skills alongside the social differences that come with savant syndrome. He graduates at the top of his class in medicine and starts working in a busy hospital, where his diagnosis ability wins attention but his manner and habits stir suspicion among peers. A Miracle premiered in 2019, directed by Yağız Alp Akaydın. The show is a Turkish adaptation of Park Jae-beom's Korean series Good Doctor, adapted for local audiences by Park Jae-beom, Pınar Bulut and Onur Koralp, and stars Taner Ölmez as Dr. Ali Vefa with Onur Tuna, Sinem Ünsal, Hazal Türesan and Murat Aygen.
