Akame ga Kill!

Young Tatsumi leaves his struggling village for the capital with a simple goal to help his family by earning money. Upon arrival he stumbles into a society where ambition is backed by cruelty, and a child emperor is ruled by a ruthless prime minister. He soon meets Night Raid, a tight knit band of assassins who strike at corruption by eliminating corrupt officials and the noble elite. The team operates from the shadows, driven by personal losses and a hard code that validates lethal acts in the name of justice. As the cost of fighting grows heavier, friendships are tested and every choice carries a price.

Released in 2014 as a television anime, Akame ga Kill! is guided by creators Makoto Uezu and Takahiro and features a strong ensemble voice cast led by Soma Saito as Tatsumi and Sora Amamiya as Akame, with design and action.
