An ordinary cityscape is swallowed by an eerie fog overnight, and New York reappears as Hellsalem's Lot, a crossing point between Earth and something beyond. In this fractured metropolis a secret order called Libra stands guardians of the uneasy equilibrium. Into the chaos arrives Leo, a photographer who also reports on strange happenings, and his arrival lands him an invitation to join Libra and help steer the balance between two merging worlds.
