Blood River

Blood River centers on an elite assassin guild controlled by the Su, Mu, and Xie clans, a force feared for striking nobles and crushing rival sects. When the guild patriarch falls ill from poisoning, a brutal leadership contest breaks out. Su Muyu, commander of the Spider-Shadow unit, takes charge of protecting the ailing leader while seeking a cure, clashing with conservative elders and an old friend, Su Changhe. Along the way he encounters Bai Hehuai, a healer whose methods conflict with the guild's violent code. After intense infighting the clans choose new paths, and Su Muyu helps steer his house toward a plan that aims to pull Blood River out of the shadows and redefine its purpose.

Released in 2025, Blood River was created by Munan Zhou and directed by Yin Tao, with Gong Jun, Peng Xiaoran, Chang Huasen, Yang Yutong, and Kong Xueer leading the cast.
