At a busy nail salon in Manatee County, five very different women run the day-to-day of Nail Artisan while also juggling dangerous side business. Desna, the salon's ambitious leader, tries to keep the shop afloat and protect her crew as money, rivals and law enforcement close in. The group includes a watchful manager, a scheming friend, a young stylist chasing respect, and a quiet presence who hides more than she says. Salon chatter and colorful manicures mask escalating risks, as friendships, loyalties and personal goals collide with illegal enterprises and family pressures, all played out with sharp humor and tense stakes.
