Crossing Lines

Crossing Lines follows an ad hoc multinational law enforcement unit set up to chase criminals who exploit open borders and global trade. The team is assembled under Captain Daniel and operates out of an unused storage suite beneath the International Criminal Court, using cross-border reach to pursue complex crimes that slip past national authorities. Each episode pairs case work with the friction of different legal systems, languages and priorities, so the five investigators have to learn how to cooperate while juggling red tape, cultural misunderstandings and personal baggage. The show sticks to procedural action and character conflict without revealing any major plot turns or finales.

Created by Edward Allen Bernero and Rola Bauer, Crossing Lines premiered in 2013 and brought together an international cast, including Tom Wlaschiha, Donald Sutherland, Lara Rossi, Elizabeth Mitchell and Goran Višnjić. The series blends European locations and an ensemble approach to crime drama.
