When an enormous alien mothership appears above Earth, Koyama Kadode and her friend Nakagawa "Ontan" carry on with the small, oddly specific routines of high school life while the rest of the world adapts to the new normal. The show follows their awkward conversations, late-night hangouts and shifting priorities as they graduate and begin to make adult choices.
