About Delicious Party Precure
Delicious Party Precure takes the classic Pretty Cure formula and seasons it with food-inspired magic. When the Recipe-Bon, a sacred cookbook from the culinary realm called CooKingdom, is stolen by the Bundoru Gang, the way people cook and share meals is at risk. Energy Fairies arrive in Oishi-Na Town to recover the book and, while searching, they unlock powers in three ordinary girls. Yui Nagomi, Kokone Fuwa and Ran Hanamichi gain colorful, food-themed transformations and become Pretty Cures with help from the fairies. The series mixes action, comedy and family-friendly fantasy as the new heroines protect the Recipe-Bon and celebrate cooking, and a rotating cast of mascot fairies and later allies keeps the fights varied and lighthearted.
Created by Sawako Hirabayashi and the Izumi Todo team, Delicious Party Precure aired in 2022 on Japanese TV as part of the long-running Pretty Cure franchise, featuring Hana Hishikawa, Risa Shimizu, Yuka Iguchi and Ai Kayano, with tie-ins.
There aren't widely reported major awards or international nominations for this season. Instead, it tends to be recognized within fan circles and among franchise followers for its character designs and merchandising presence, rather than for prize-season acclaim. It got modest coverage in Japanese media around its launch.
Delicious Party Precure's food motifs translated into a steady stream of toys, apparel and promotional items, plus seasonal tie-ins at events. Colorful character designs and meme-friendly moments and cosplay helped it gain visibility online, especially among parents and younger fans who enjoyed the series' emphasis on sharing meals and cooperation.
General reception sits around a 6.5/10 average from 11 votes, indicating mixed but friendly responses among family viewers. Viewers praise its upbeat tone, humor and clear focus on friendship, teamwork and culinary creativity, while critics point out it follows familiar Pretty Cure plotting and doesn't take big risks stylistically.
