Dilili in Paris

Set in a lively Belle Epoque Paris, Dilili in Paris follows a young Kanak girl named Dilili who teams up with Orel, a spirited delivery boy, to investigate a wave of mysterious abductions targeting young girls. Their search leads them through salons, ateliers, and city streets where they meet a string of real-life artists, writers, and scientists who offer clues and perspective. Along the way Dilili encounters beauty and danger, and she learns about the social fault lines of the period, including prejudice and the limits placed on women.
