On a grim rainy day, Kensuke Goto, a seasoned physician, is reassigned to a tiny coastal clinic after a troubling incident at his Tokyo hospital. The post sits on the edge of the map, where patients bring stubborn beliefs as much as ailments and every choice carries consequences. Goto arrives with sharp clinical instincts and a stubborn resolve, tempered by a readiness to listen that locals rarely grant outsiders.
