Two friends grow up with different instincts. Aoi would rather stay indoors, absorbed in books, while Hinata lives for the thrill of climbing. When they were kids they watched a sunrise from the top of a mountain, a memory that now nudges them toward a shared goal. They decide to take up mountaineering so they can see that dawn again, and perhaps a little brighter this time. The show follows their light hearted missteps as they cook using climbing gear in goofy competitions, scale small hills near home, and meet new mountaineering friends who teach them the basics.
