Far Away

Alya Albora returns to Mardin with her five-year-old son after her husband's funeral, intending to honor his final wishes. Instead she finds herself trapped in the Albora family's orbit, where leaving is harder than she expected. The tribe's patriarch, Cihan Albora, watches her closely and refuses to let the child go, setting up a tense standoff over custody, tradition, and authority. As hidden histories and local hardships surface, Alya has to hold on to her sense of self while managing grief, suspicion, and the everyday demands of life under the family's roof, all without any easy exits or clear allies.
