Flash Gordon

An all-American football quarterback and a group of friends are drawn into an interplanetary adventure when their routine trip goes awry and they crash on the dazzling world of Mongo. There they team up with Dr. Hans Zarkov and Princess Aura, while Dale Arden joins the effort to stop Ming the Merciless, a tyrant who rules the planet with a mix of science and sorcery. The foursome, along with rebels on Mongo, must rally factions, expose Ming's oppression, and improvise daring escapes as they race to protect Earth from being overwhelmed. The tone blends pulp bravado with luminous sets and kinetic action. Along the way the crew encounters bizarre creatures, dazzling weaponry, and a brisk, humorous energy.
