Jiiro makes his living hunting gigantic, dangerous creatures that roam a fractured world. During one of his expeditions he crosses paths with Kuumi, a mysterious young woman who's fleeing something she won't talk about, and he pulls her out of immediate danger. As they keep traveling together they pick up allies and run into factions whispering about a secret experiment that may connect humanity to the beasts. The show follows their attempts to piece together what happened, survive frequent monster encounters, and figure out how far people will go to control or cure what they created, without giving away key plot turns or the ending.

Giant Beasts of ARS premiered in 2023 and was created by Norimitsu Kaiho. The animated series features Hina Youmiya as Kuumi, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Jiiro, Yu Serizawa as Myaa, Hiromu Mineta as Meran, and Yoko Hikasa as Romana.
