Girls und Panzer

Miho Nishizumi transfers to the coastal Ōarai Girls' Academy, where Sensha-do, the organized sport of tank combat, is treated like a traditional martial art for girls. Though Miho comes from a family with a strict Sensha-do legacy, she wants a quieter school life. The student council chair asks her to join the academy's newly revived team, and she agrees to help steady a group of classmates who range from enthusiastic strategists to anxious rookies. Together they learn to operate real World War II era tanks, train as a unit, and prepare to face other schools in the national Sensha-do championship, balancing school life, friendship, and competitive pressure without giving away any major plot turns.
