At the end of middle school, Uka Ishimori is stepping into a new high school hoping the social storm has cooled. Hachimitsu High promises a clean slate, a place where she can rewrite how others see her. In this world of bright classrooms and soft drama, she finds Kai Miura, a classmate who moves with effortless swagger yet never hides his softer side when it counts. They met during middle school, and a single word from Kai previously convinced her to transfer, something she now seeks to honor by forming real connections rather than chasing fake approval. The series follows Uka as she tests friendships, faces cafeteria politics, and discovers her own voice, all while the two of them navigate trust, loyalty, and the messy textures of growing up.
