Kizuna Hida has a rare Heart Hybrid Gear ability, but it barely registers as useful. When his older sister transfers him to a strategic defense academy, he ends up surrounded by skilled female pilots who use HHG to fight interdimensional invaders while wearing very revealing combat outfits. Kizuna's combat skills are weak, so he becomes part of an unusual support role: certain intimate interactions with the girls can restore their power and stamina. The series keeps the focus on school life, battles, awkward sexual situations, and the social fallout that follows, with plenty of comedy and sci fi action but no major twists spoiled here.
