Moana

In a sun soaked archipelago, a headstrong daughter of a rising chief won't settle when a looming curse threatens her people. When ancient powers stir the sea and sky, she answers the Ocean's call and sets out to find the legendary demigod Maui. Their unlikely partnership tests her resolve as they sail between coral islets and stormy seas, facing obstacles that force her to look inward and reconsider what a leader owes her community. With wit, heart, and courage, she learns that reclaiming balance means trust, sacrifice, and a willingness to challenge her own assumptions about family, duty, and what makes a home worth defending.

Directed by Thomas Kail, Moana draws on Polynesian folklore and the Moana universe created by Dana Ledoux Miller, Jared Bush, and Chris Williams. Catherine Laga'aia stars Moana with Dwayne Johnson returning as Maui.
