Noah is a 17-year-old who has to leave her city life, boyfriend, and circle of friends when her mother Rafaela marries William Leister and they move into his lavish mansion. Proud and fiercely independent, she bristles at the loss of privacy and the trappings of wealth that surround her. In that gilded household she meets Nick, William's son, and their intense personalities collide from the start, producing antagonism that quickly blurs into something more complicated.
